Thanks to Rupert Holmes -yes, the Pina Colada song RH- I present a show gave us phrases such as: "Understood completely," "Buy barley futures," "BettyBettyBetty," "Hi hi" and "Oh, would you look at the time..." Not to mention long-winded diatribes by Mr Foley (o.O). Pizza and peanut brittle; cranberry jelly, an albatross and some rope; fake wives, fake deaths, Nazis, magicians, a birth and one guy who thought he was Mickey Rooney; con men, interns, divas and a round of 'Who's on first' with an office. Tongue twisters, sponsors and a 'Man of a thousand voices' -we heard at least 150 of them!

There were also, quite possibly, more Wizard of Oz references than Stargate SG-1, too! *nods*

The ones that make you vault out of bed so you clear it by a good foot; and you take the same leap to get back into bed later.

The ones that makes you want to force yourself to stay awake until you're SURE you won't see the face/situation again - and all that effort on forgetting it makes you remember even more details.

*WARNING* uber!BITCHing ahead...

They are trying to streamline our schedules at work.

Therefore, as I am doing the 5 day/8-hour shift....

The problem is that I have a second job. I've been coming in at -roughly- the same time every day and staying late on three nights, leaving early on two.

Apparently there'll be no more of that.

So, if I leave work at 4 now, that puts me downtown at 445ish and home by 5 to be back out by 6.

Now, I get to be at work at 830 so I can leave at 430

That puts me on I-4 at.... 7?

I'm lucky to get awake by 815! o.O

Now, on one hand, as I'm constantly getting screwed over by a simple request at Disney to work one day a week, I'm tempted to tell them to stick it and hang the "perks" -which I rarely use anyway.

But, having my auto insurance come directly out of my paycheck is handy.

It would be nice if UMap would pay us even a dollar more... GAH!!!

He's hosting High School Musical live... or some damn thing... Which makes sense, as half the cast was here this week for the Disney Channel Games. They were all staying at AKLodge - the brother saw Ashley, Vanessa, Rico-the-PIMP!, one of the twins (who had escaped Security and spent about five minutes walking around with the brother -mine, not his-) and the Jonas Brothers.

Miley had to be moved to another resort because of the press. I wish they'd back the ^%($ off the girl. Her parents were probably IN THE ROOM when the picture was taken anyway... *facepalm*
